Create unforgettable memories with your loved ones at our family retreats. Families will have the opportunity to volunteer with local community projects for a day, try out community living, learn Spanish taught by our native teachers and much more. Jump in head first and learn new things about yourself by getting out of your comfort zone. In this retreat you will engage in interactive learning, strengthening family bonds amidst breathtaking views of the surrounding volcanoes on the lake. Accommodations located in the quaint and traditional town of San Juan La Laguna, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.

August Teens Guatemala Hike
What makes this program so special:
This program brings adventure, social responsibility, friendship, community and stewardship all into one neatly wrapped package. A package that you are not only purchasing for yourself, but for an underprivileged Guatemalan teen from our local neighbourhood as well. Price INCLUDES sponsoring a local to attend!
Registered teens that sign up for this are encouraged and given tools to fundraise to facilitate the participation of their sponsored local counterpart. The sponsored teen that you raise funds for, will be put in contact with you to share training progress videos before the trip, and will be your roommate and hiking buddy for the duration of the experience.
How it works: A 50% deposit it taken to reserve your spot and then a fundraising information package will be provided to help raise the other half for your Guatemalan hiking buddy!

Total cost $2200. Fundraising information packages and support provided to ensure your teen reaches their goal of raising half to sponsor their local hiking buddy.
OLD SCHOOL PROGRAM

A truly incredible program designed to turn the village of San Juan La Laguna into a campus of its own.

Come live with us at our family run boutique hotel while we use the afternoons to apprentice in "old-school" crafts.

Woodfire Baking - Welding - Cooking - Farming - Shoemaking - Spanish Classes - Sewing - Etiquette Classes and much more!

Minimum Stay is 1 month, breakfast spread included every morning, tutors available for personal homeschool curriculum morning blocks, bi-weekly excursions, accommodations! All this included and starting at just $2800USD/month per family of 4!
